Hadi Sacko has announced on Twitter that he’s leaving Leeds United.

The 25-year-old French winger has been heavily linked with a move to Turkish side Denizlispor in recent weeks.

Denizli Yeni Olay reported last weekend that they would be signing the Leeds ace this week and it looks like an announcement is imminent after what Sacko posted on Twitter.

The former Sporting Lisbon man posted a heartfelt goodbye to the Whites and its fans on social media this evening.

Sacko, whose last game for the Championship club came in March of 2018, had the potential to be a real star at Leeds.

He had pace to burn but his end product often let him down and it’s probably the reason why he wasn’t more successful.

The Mali international originally joined United on loan under Garry Monk three years ago, before his move was made permanent a year later.

Sacko was Leeds’ first signing of the Andrea Radrizzani era, having arrived a little over a week after the Italian took full control of the Elland Road club.
