Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has taken to Twitter to provide some insight on Junior Firpo, who is close to swapping Barcelona for Leeds.
What did he say?
Well, after hopping onto Twitter, Balague claimed that Leeds are getting a player who thrives with space to run into.
However, he warned that Firpo has lost plenty of confidence during his nightmarish stint at the Camp Nou.
Barcelona spent £27.5 million to sign the Spaniard from Real Betis in 2019.
However, he’s only made 41 appearances in nearly two years, struggling to dislodge Jordi Alba from Barcelona’s starting XI.
Now, to go from being a £27.5 million marquee signing, to leaving out the back door for just £13 million, surely won’t help his confidence either.
However, Balague provides some relief when insisting that the Firpo we’ve seen at Barcelona isn’t the real Firpo.
Fantastic work from Marcelo Bielsa and Victor Orta

It has been said that Marcelo Bielsa and Victor Orta successfully convinced Firpo to choose Leeds over other clubs interested in signing him.
To find a new left-back just days after Ezgjan Alioski’s contract expired is brilliant, while the fees involved make it a brilliant bit of business.
Leeds are signing a 24-year-old right on the cusp of his prime years, for £14.5 million less than his club paid for him.

It is brilliant work from the recruitment team at Elland Road yet again.
To have Firpo and Jack Harrison on the left, mirrored by Luke Ayling and Raphinha on the right, is a truly mouthwatering prospect.
Hopefully, Bielsa can help the left-back rediscover his confidence quickly.
