Rangers legend Barry Ferguson thinks it will be “difficult” for the Light Blues to reject offers of £7million for midfield maestro Glen Kamara – although his valuation isn’t likely to go down well with Rangers fans.
The Finn has been linked with a host of clubs over the last 18 months, with the most recent reports claiming the likes of Everton and West Ham are plotting a move.
While Ferguson thinks the £50k Rangers spent to bring Kamara to Ibrox might be the “most ridiculous pound-for-pound signing” the Gers have ever made, the Ibrox legend seems to be massively undervaluing him.
“[H]aving snapped Kamara up for £50k – which might be the most ridiculous pound-for-pound signing the club ever made – it might be difficult to knock back offers of around £7m for a guy who walked into the Euros in a Finland shirt and looked as if he belongs at that level,” Ferguson told the Daily Record.
Selling Kamara for £7million would be a massive mis-step by Rangers
Quite simply, if Rangers sell Kamara at the sort of price mentioned by Ferguson, someone at Ibrox is doing their job very, very poorly.

The Finn has shown over the last two-and-a-half years at Ibrox that he is capable of competing at any level.
With the sort of money thrown around by Premier League sides on players who barely make an impact on their squad, Rangers should be looking for considerably more than the £7million floated by Ferguson.
