Arsenal’s reported quest to sign Eduardo Camavinga from Rennes has taken a new twist.
Arsenal interest
Le10Sport reported in May that Arsenal want to sign Camavinga in the summer transfer window.
The report in the French news outlet claimed that securing the services of the Rennes midfielder is one of the main priorities of the Gunners.
New contract offer
However, Rennes seem determined to keep the France international.
Le10Sport are now reporting that sources have told them that the French club have made a new offer to the teenager which they think is very tempting.
The report has mentioned Arsenal’s interest in the 18-year-old, but it claims that the Gunners have yet to make a formal bid.

What now for Eduardo Camavinga?
It will be interesting to see what Camavinga does now.
Camavinga is a very promising young midfielder who is expected to do great things in the future.
Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba described his France international teammate as “a little dancer” on GFFN in October 2020.
Arsenal are a massive club but Camavinga is only 18, and staying at Rennes for another season could help him in his progress.
The Rennes no.10 made 28 starts and seven substitute appearances in Ligue 1 last season.
The French teenager scored one goal and gave two assists in those games.
