Former Rangers player and coach Peter Lovenkrands was confirmed as the new manager of Danish First Division side Fremad Amager yesterday and Gers fans have taken to Twitter to congratulate the Ibrox hero on his new role.

Lovenkrands left Ibrox last year to take up a coaching role in Japan but Covid 19 restrictions would eventually see it fall through, leaving the Dane out of work.
Lovenkrands was part of the Rangers Academy coaching staff after hanging his boots up on a glittering playing career that saw him play for the Gers, Danish side AB, Birmingham City, Newcastle United and Schalke 04.
The Dane takes over from another former Rangers player in Jesper Christiansen, with the ex-keeper working as caretaker manager at the Copenhagen-based side.
After finishing eighth in the league last season, Lovenkrands will be hoping he can help push his new side up the table and challenge for promotion to the top flight.
Rangers fans on Twitter were delighted to see him take his first steps in management as they sent their congratulations to the former Rangers star.
