According to Football London, Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana looks almost sure to sign for Arsenal this summer.
The Cameroon goalkeeper has been strongly linked with a move to Arsenal for a while now, and it seems as though the Gunners are finally closing in on completing this deal.
A £7m fee has been touted for Onana, but it remains to be seen just how much the Gunners end up paying for the stopper.
The report states that the fee the Gunners pay for Onana will be largely dependent on the outcome of his appeal against his ban, and not long after this information was published, Onana’s ban was reduced.
Mikel Arteta’s side have reportedly already made their first offer for the 25-year-old, and Football London seemingly believe that the move is imminent.
Arsenal could certainly do with a new goalkeeper this summer. Mat Ryan’s loan spell is over, while Bernd Leno’s future is also up in the air.

Luckily, it seems as though the Cameroon international will be headed to the Emirates in the summer, and given that his ban has been reduced, he should be ready to star for Arsenal in 2021/22.
When this deal is announced remains to be seen, but if this is report is accurate, it may not be long before Onana is unveiled as an Arsenal player.
