Wojciech Szczesny has been linked with Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, and his former Gunners teammate Mesut Ozil has shown on Twitter how much he rates the ex-Emirates Stadium goalkeeper.
Wojciech Szczesny linked with Arsenal
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (print edition, page 5, May 28, 2021), Arsenal are interested in signing Szczesny from Juventus.
Bernd Leno is being linked with a move away, and Arsenal could need a new first-choice goalkeeper for next season and beyond.
Szczesny spoke highly of Arsenal fans in April, and the 31-year-old has done well at Juventus.
The Poland international is so good that his former Arsenal teammate Ozil has included him in his Euro 2020 Fantasy Football Team.
Ozil is now on the books of Fenerbahce, having left Arsenal in January 2021.
Good signing for Arsenal?
Szczesny has played down talks of a return to Arsenal, but anything is possible in football.

Juventus have a new manager in charge now, Massimiliano Allegri, and the Italian tactician could decide to shake things up a bit.
After all, the Bianconeri could not win the Serie A title this past season and almost missed out on the Champions League places.
If Leno does leave and Juventus decide to sell Szczesny, then a move back to Arsenal in the summer transfer window might not be a bad idea.
