
Fabrizio Romano has claimed on Twitter that Georginio Wijnaldum is going to Paris Saint-Germain, and that is bad news for Tottenham Hotspur in regard to their quest to bring back Mauricio Pochettino.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that departing Liverpool midfielder Wijnaldum has decided to snub Barcelona for PSG.
Romano has added that PSG manager Pochettino personally called the Netherlands international midfielder.
This suggests that the former Tottenham manager does not plan to leave PSG this summer.
Bad news for Spurs.
The London Evening Standard has claimed that Spurs could now make a final push for Pochettino.
Talks between Tottenham and Antonio Conte have been called off.
Spurs had looked at Pochettino before making a move for the former Chelsea manager.

If, as Romano claims, Pochettino called Wijnaldum to convince him to move to PSG, then it is clear that the former Tottenham boss will be at the French club.
It is hard to understand why the Argentine would ring up a player to bring him to PSG and then leave.
Tottenham would now have to look at someone else.
