According to ESPN, Manchester City are thinking about offering Sergio Ramos a two-year contract if he leaves Real Madrid.
As things stand, the 35-year-old will become a free agent once his contract expires on June 30th.
However, Ramos will hold talks with Florentino Perez in the next few days, where a decision will be made – the centre-back wants to stay.
Interestingly, negotiations have stalled since the start of the season, and the Citizens have been monitoring the situation.
ESPN state that Pep Guardiola would love to have a player of the 180-cap Spain international’s experience at the Etihad Stadium.
ESPN add that Manchester City’s data analytics view Ramos’ performance levels as similar to those of a much younger player, hence why a two-year contract is in the offing.

Tottenham are also interested in Sergio Ramos
If the £338,000-a-week man does leave the Santiago Bernabeu, then Tottenham are also interested, according to the Evening Standard.
In our view, it would be a shock to see him move to north London, when one of Spain’s best ever managers awaits him in Manchester.
The Citizens can also offer Ramos a greater chance of winning a trophy, and would presumably be able to match his wages with ease.

Regardless, nothing will happen if Ramos holds positive talks with Perez over the next few days.
In that respect, it’s certainly worth keeping an eye on how the situation unfolds this week.
