According to Foot Mercato, Paris Saint-Germain are willing to sell one Arsenal target to sign another this summer.
It’s suggested that PSG are looking to take advantage of the current upheaval at Inter Milan by launching a move for Achraf Hakimi.
Antonio Conte has left as boss and with finances a problem, Hakimi could be sold just a year after arriving from Real Madrid.
PSG want to launch a bold move for the Moroccan, who Mikel Arteta wants at Arsenal according to a report from AS in April.
They need to raise funds for such a move though, and one of the players they’re considering selling to bid for Hakimi is defender Thilo Kehrer.
Paris Fans claimed earlier this month that Arsenal have offered £8million for Kehrer, which is a long way short of the £32million PSG paid for him in 2018.
A player once hailed by Thomas Tuchel, Arsenal surely won’t get Kehrer for that, and PSG will absolutely demand more now they’re trying to raise funds for Hakimi.
Losing out on Hakimi would be a blow for Arsenal even if he’s a pretty ambitious target anyway, but the knowledge that Kehrer is available may be encouraging for Edu and Mikel Arteta.
