Kevin Campbell has said on Highbury Squad that Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah will be sold this summer.
The former Arsenal striker, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports, believes that the ex-Leeds United loanee’s place in the first team next season will be taken by Folarin Balogun.
Campbell said on Highbury Squad: “I reckon Eddie Nketiah will be moved on, and Balogun will be moved up.”
Campbell’s prediction about Arsenal duo Nketiah and Balogun could turn out to be true.
Balogun, an Hale End academy graduate, recently signed a new contract.
The striker has been making huge impression for the Arsenal Under-23 side this season and is likely to be a regular in the first-team squad in 2021-22.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette will be the two main strikers – unless, of course, the Gunners sell the latter – while Gabriel Martinelli is reportedly being moulded to play down the middle.
Nketiah has not really made an impact at Arsenal.

With West Ham United linked with the English striker, you should not be surprised if the Gunners decide to cash in on the 21-year-old this summer.
In fairness to Nketiah, it is not easy for a 21-year-old striker to perform well when he does not a run of games.
The striker has made four starts and 13 substitute appearances in the Premier League this season.
The former Leeds loanee has scored two goals and provided one assist.
In the Europa League, Nketiah made six starts and two substitute appearances, scoring three goals in the process.
