Some Liverpool fans on social media have been absolutely blown away by Ethan Ennis’ performance for the U18s, and for good reason.
Indeed, the youngster netted a hat-trick in just 24 minutes after coming off the bench for the Reds’ youth outfit, and as you can imagine, that caught the eye of some Liverpool supporters.
Liverpool fans were raving over another U18 player earlier this week, but now the spotlight is truly on Ennis.
Ennis was one of the youngest players on the pitch at just 16 years of age, but he looked by far and away the best player on the park after he came on, netting three times off the bench.
The Reds have been blessed with talented goal scorers at youth level in recent years with Layton Stewart also making waves in the academy ranks on Merseyside, and it seems as though Ennis is hot on his tail.
Ennis may be a young player to keep an eye on in the coming years as his development continues.
