Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react after a 16-second video of Mateusz Musialowski scoring against Newcastle’s Under-18 side surfaced.
The footage in question shows the young Polish forward dribbling through six Newcastle players, before firing the ball into the top left corner.
It was the type of goal we’ve become accustomed to seeing Lionel Messi score on a regular basis, so for a 17-year-old to do it is mightily impressive.
It was the teenager’s fifth U18 Premier League goal of the season, on what was his 15th appearance in the competition this term.
Musialowski also has two assists to show for his efforts in 2020/21.

This goal alone should excite plenty of Liverpool fans.
There are few players around who can ghost past five or six opponents and slam the ball home, regardless of what level you’re playing at.
We don’t want to heap pressure on the Pole’s shoulders, but it’s difficult to see how he won’t make a first-team appearance soon if he keeps doing things like this.

Understandably, many Liverpool fans think they have a wonderkid on their hands in the Poland Under-17 international, and we don’t disagree.
In years to come, the Reds could have their very own Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery on the flanks in Musialowski and Harvey Elliott.
Let’s see how the Liverpool fans on Twitter reacted to the 16-second footage…
