Phil Hay has said on The Phil Hay Show that Leeds United winger Raphinha is an easy player to manage.

Well-known and well-respected journalist Hay, who now works as the Leeds United correspondent for The Athletic, has said that he has been told that the Brazilian is laid-back and quiet and is not a difficult player to work with.

Hay has added that Rodrigo, who can operate as a striker or as a winger, is also an easy player to manage.

Both Raphinha and Rodrigo joined Leeds in the summer of 2020 and have established themselves as important players in head coach Marcelo Bielsa’s team.

Hay said about Raphinha on The Phil Hay Show: “They say at Thorp Arch that he is nice, laid-back quiet guy who is really really easy to manage. Same as Rodrigo. Despite being Spain’s number nine, he is not a difficult personality or certainly hasn’t been in the time he has been at Leeds so far.”

Big player for Leeds United

Raphinha has taken to the Premier League like a duck to water and has been superb for Leeds so far this season.

According to WhoScored, the 24-year-old has made 17 starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Whites so far this campaignn, scoring five goals and providing five assists in the process.

There is no wonder that the Brazilian winger has been linked with Liverpool, with JuveLive reporting earlier this month, as covered by HITC Sport, that the defending champions want to bring him to Anfield in the summer of 2021.
