Celtic supporters might see an improved player if he pulls on the hoops again

Celtic’s recent resurgence in form might have been driven by a French striker, but another Celtic attacker is currently turning heads in France.
Vakoun Issouf Bayo may have been written off by supporters, but he’s currently impressing during his loan spell at Ligue 2 side Toulouse.
The 24-year-old rose to head home a corner in stoppage time on Monday night and seal a 3-0 win against Ajaccio.
That goal came on the heels of his opener in Wednesday’s shock 2-0 victory against Ligue 1 Bordeaux in the ‘Derby de la Garonne’.

Bayo was brought to Celtic by Brendan Rodgers for £2m from Dunajská Streda in January 2019, but has found the net on just two occasions in 17 games across two seasons.
Toulouse acquired the Ivory Coast international on loan in August 2020, with an option to buy at the end of his year at the club.
With Odsonne Edouard likely to depart at the end of the season, Bayo could be another option for Celtic to look at.
These supporters certainly feel there could be a future for him in Glasgow.
Back in Glasgow, the pressure continues on Celtic boss Neil Lennon.
Former Celtic man Chris Sutton believes Lennon needs to go amid a “disaster” of a season.
Speaking on the Record Celtic podcast, he said: “For me, Neil can’t be in charge. I don’t care whether he wins every game until the end of the season.
:This season has been a disaster. And I don’t like saying that as a former teammate.

“When you look back to last season, it’s the same core of players, so the simple question is ‘Why has the level dropped off so much’?
“It’s the manager who carries the can and this has gone on for too long.”
