Arsene Wenger said on beINSPORTS at half time that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane did not look fit against Manchester City.

The former Arsenal manager also said that Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris was not at his best.

Spurs suffered a 3-0 loss at the hands of City away from home at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League this evening.

Kane, 27, started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, while Lloris could have done better for the second goal that he conceded and did not look very comfortable between the posts.

Wenger said on beINSPORTS at half time: “Lloris doesn’t look to be at his best nor is Harry Kane. He looks physically fitness-wise not completely ready today to play at that intensity. To me, he looks still a bit injured on his ankle when he got hurt. One time he went down quickly, and it was not a big hit.”

How did Harry Kane play against Manchester City?

Kane, who had recently regained full fitness, is one of the best strikers in the Premier League, and Tottenham were looking to him to score goals.

However, the 27-year-old could not do much of note against City, and his hold-up play was disappointing as well.

According to WhoScored, the striker took two shots and one was on target, played one key pass, had a pass accuracy of 95%, won two headers, took 44 touches, attempted one dribble, made one tackle, two interceptions and four clearances, and put in one cross.

It was a disappointing result for Spurs, but the North London club remain in the hunt for a top-four place in the Premier League table.
