According to Tutto Hellas Verona, Celtic could now sign Pawel Dawidowicz as they plan to reignite their interest in the Serie A colossus.
THV state that the 1-cap Poland international was previously the subject of a failed approach from Neil Lennon’s side last year.
Now, however, the Hoops plan to go back in for the 25-year-old.
Worryingly for Celtic though, the report adds that Dawidowicz has never hidden his desire to stay with Hellas Verona.
In that respect, it could be hard to prise him away from Italy.

The Olsztyn-born centre-back cost Hellas Verona €3.5 million (£3 million), so we would presume they’d like to receive more than their initial outlay if they do sell him.
There also isn’t really any rush to sell, as the Pole is contracted to the Serie A outfit until June 2022, according to Transfermarkt.
Celtic might end up having to sign Dawidowicz as a replacement for one of their existing players – Kristoffer Ajer.

The Norway international shone against St Mirren recently, which led to some Celtic supporters dreading the worst this summer – they think he’s off.
Ajer is a man in demand, with OGC Nice and AC Milan watching him according to Goal.
It certainly feels as if there could be a change at centre-back on the horizon for Celtic, in our view.
