Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react after some 11-second footage of Udinese maestro Rodrigo De Paul emerged.
Why does this concern Liverpool?
Well, Fabrizio Romano recently revealed that Jurgen Klopp’s side are scouting the 19-cap Argentina international.
The Italian transfer specialist said on the Que Golazo Podcast that Liverpool aren’t planning a January swoop for the 26-year-old, with a summer move more likely.
In the aforementioned 11-second footage, the Udinese captain can be seen driving up the pitch from the right-back position.
The ball is stuck to De Paul’s foot like glue, as he surges into the box before drilling a cross towards the back post, where his teammate should really score.

The footage is eye-catching, and proves that the attacking midfielder is a direct, brave footballer with excellent dribbling skills.
His intensity and attacking intent seem tailor-made for Klopp’s style of play.
Interestingly, Leeds also want De Paul, with Romano telling GiveMeSport that they’ll have to pay £36.05 million to secure his services.

It is intriguing to see two high-intensity, attack-minded managers in Klopp and Marcelo Bielsa both target the same player.
Whatever data system the two clubs are using to find new players, the Argentine playmaker appears to be popping up at the top of it.
Let’s see what the Liverpool fans on Twitter have been saying about the footage…
