Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka has raved about his teammate Kieran Tierney, as quoted on BBC Sport.
Saka, who can operate as a left-back or as a left-winger, was left stunned by Tierney’s goal for Arsenal against West Bromwich Albion at the weekend.
The former Celtic left-back found the back of the net in the first half at The Hawthorns with a wonderful solo effort with his right foot.
Saka told BBC Sport about Tierney: “KT deserved that, he’s put in amazing performances all year and that was something we’ve never seen before from him, right foot, top corner.”
Kieran Tierney is an Arsenal star
Tierney did not have the best of starts at Arsenal when he arrived from Celtic in the summer of 2019, but as manager Mikel Arteta said after the match against West Brom, he is now playing well and has got over fitness issues.
The 23-year-old, also praised by Arsenal legend Martin Keown, is one of the best left-backs in the Premier League, and given his age, it is safe to say that he will get better and better in the coming years.
Arsenal have a genuine star in Tierney, who has scored one goal and provided one assist in 16 Premier League matches so far this season, according to WhoScored.
