The Whites have done a great job of securing the futures of their young stars in recent weeks with Charlie Cresswell and Pascal Struijk being handed new contracts in November.
Huggins is the latest player to be handed a new deal at Elland Road, and United fans were absolutely buzzing to hear that he’d been given a new deal.
Huggins has long been touted as a future star in West Yorkshire, and this contract secures his future at the club until at least 2023.
It’s been a brilliant week for Huggins, he reportedly travelled with the first-team for their game against Everton, and now he’s been handed a new contract at the club.
Fingers crossed we see him make his first-team debut sooner rather than later.
Understandably, Leeds supporters were over the moon to hear that Huggins had put pen to paper.
