Liverpool insiders believe that Jurgen Klopp’s next major signing could be Erling Braut Haaland, EuroSport claim.
The Borussia Dortmund striker is a player who Liverpool boss Klopp apparently admires greatly, and there is a growing feeling that the Reds could launch a transfer bid sooner rather than later.
EuroSport suggests that Haaland could be brought in at Anfield, if Mohamed Salah does depart.
If Haaland was to sign for Liverpool then he would be a stunning addition for the Reds to make.
The 20-year-old, who was labelled as ‘phenomenal’ by Gary Lineker, has blasted in an incredible 33 goals in 31 games, which has led to interest in his services increasing.
Fabrizio Romano claims that Haaland has a release clause of £67 million which, while expensive, doesn’t put him totally out of Liverpool’s price-range.
Haaland would surely increase Liverpool’s scoring threat even further if he was to join, due to his lethal finishing.
And with the likes of Diogo Jota, Sadio Mane and Thiago all playing behind him, he could thrive off the service he would get on Merseyside.
