Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has a less than zero per cent likelihood to take the Germany job according to Raphael Honigstein.

The journalist is the go-to guy with anything to do with German football, so his comments should relieve a number of Liverpool fans.

Klopp has recently been linked with a move to the German national team, with Lothar Matthaus saying that he is the only candidate who can be considered to replace Joachim Low.

However, it seems that the Reds’ manager won’t be upping sticks to return to his home country anytime soon, and that’s great to hear if you’re a Liverpool fan.

Nobody needs reminding just how good of a manager Klopp is, but the fact that he’s not going to be taking the Germany job is still a huge relief.

The Liverpool manager has previously stated that he would consider taking the Germany job is he was offered it, but it seems as though there isn’t much interest in taking that job in the near future.

There have previously been reports claiming that Germany want Klopp, but it seems as though he is wholly committed to Liverpool at the moment.

The future of the German national team is certainly up in the air after their embarrassing 6-0 defeat to Spain on Tuesday evening, and while they may soon be looking for a new manager, it doesn’t seem as though Klopp will be that man.
