Stoke City’s sacking of Mark Hughes on Saturday does not appear to have hindered their recruitment plans.

Stoke City have made an enquiry for Galatasaray midfielder Papa Alioune ‘Badou’ Ndiaye, according to Sky Sports (live blog entry 16:10).
Ndiaye only moved to Gala from fellow Turkish side Osmanlispor in August, at a reported cost of £6.6 million, but has continued to be watched by a number of Stoke’s Premier League rivals – including Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and West Ham United [Sporx].
However, despite starting all but one of a possible 17 league games this season – for which he was suspended – the Senegal international has struggled to replicate his past explouts in Istanbul, where he has scored only one goal and assisted another two.

Stoke’s sacking of Mark Hughes on Saturday does not appear to have hindered their recruitment plans, with right-back Moritz Bauer arriving at the Bet 365 Stadium from Rubin Kazan on Tuesday.
The Stoke Sentinel also credited the Potters with interest in Ndiaye on Monday.
Slaven Bilic – who is Stoke’s top target according to the Sun – Martin O’Neill, Gary Rowett, Paul Lambert and Graham Potter have all been mentioned as potential Hughes replacements.
