Arsenal hitman Olivier Giroud has been linked with a January loan move to West Ham United.

Hammers boss David Moyes will be desperate to bolster his attacking options in January, as he looks to add more firepower to his toothless front-line.
West Ham’s tally of just 14 Premier League goals scored this season is the fifth lowest in the division, with the likes of Andy Carroll and Javier Hernandez proving to be unreliable from a fitness perspective.
And according to the Mirror, Gunners ace Olivier Giroud is a prime target for Moyes, with the 31-year-old looking for a loan move away from the Emirates in a bid to secure his place in France’s squad for the World Cup in Russia.

And what a signing he would be for the Hammers.
The Frenchman is arguably the league’s best target-man type striker, and his presence in the West Ham team would offer them a totally different option through the middle.
Giroud is incredibly strong, superb in the air, and possesses an impressive goalscoring record that is sometimes overlooked.

The former Montpellier man has scored 105 goals in 249 outings for Arsenal, with 82 of those appearances coming from the substitutes bench.
He would be the perfect partner for Hernandez at the London Stadium, when the Mexican returns to action.
The pair could form a devastating partnership – one that has the potential to fire West Ham into the top half of the table, and if Moyes manages to bring Giroud to the club in January, it could turn out to be a signing of real significance for the Hammers.
