West Ham United co-owner David Gold is far from a popular figure in east London.

The Hammers were magnificent against Chelsea yesterday, eventually running out comfortable 1-0 winners, and the club’s co-owner David Gold took to his official Twitter account to congratulate the team, reserving special praise for Arthur Masuaku.
West Ham have made a miserable start to their 2017/18 Premier League campaign, and still find themselves inside the relegation zone in spite of yesterday’s superb win over Antonio Conte’s men.
The club’s co-owners David Gold and David Sullivan have received plenty of criticism from the Hammers faithful for their perceived poor handling of club affairs.

The appointment of David Moyes as manager last month did not go down well in east London, but there are signs that West Ham are making progress under the Scot.
Hammers fans were angered by Gold’s tweet, however, suggesting that he only takes to the popular social media network when West Ham are doing well, or if they have won a match.
