Hammers boss David Moyes addressed the media in the aftermath of his side’s superb 1-0 win over Chelsea today, and shared how Joe Hart reacted when hearing that he would be replaced by Adrian in the starting line-up for today’s game, as quoted by the club’s official website.

The England number one was ineligible to play against his parent club Manchester City last weekend, with the 30-year-old deputising, and the Spaniard earned rave reviews for his display at the Etihad.

Adrian was excellent once again today, proving to be a calming influence behind his defenders, and Hart will surely have his work cut-out now, if he is to force his way back into the side.

It will be a pleasant dilemma for Moyes though…for a change.

The Scot spoke to reporters in the aftermath of his side’s victory over the Blues today, and opened up on how Hart reacted when he was informed that he would be warming the bench against Antonio Conte’s side, as quoted by WHUFC.com:

England's goalkeeper Joe Hart celebrates their late equalizer during the group F World Cup qualifying football match between Scotland and England at Hampden Park in Glasgow on June 10,...

“I have two really good goalkeepers. Joe was professional when I told him he wasn’t playing, and Adrian played very well last week. We have kept a clean sheet today, so at the moment Adrian’s done well and played well again today.”

Next up for the Hammers is another home game on Wednesday night, this time against Arsenal, and the Spaniard has surely done enough to retain the goalkeeping jersey for the visit of the Gunners.
