West Ham United will have to be at their very best if they are to take anything from Chelsea today.

David Moyes explained that he hopes the club’s fans realise the size of the task that his team face against the Blues today, when writing a column for WHUFC.com.
The Hammers welcome Chelsea to the London Stadium for the Premier League’s 12:30 kick-off today, and David Moyes’ side are in desperate need of at least a point, as they look to excavate themselves from the drop zone.
That will obviously be easier said than done, however, with Antonio Conte’s side currently in the midst of a fine run of form, winning four out of their last five Premier League outings.

If West Ham are to have any chance whatsoever, they will need their fanbase to get right behind the side from the very first whistle – something that certainly hasn’t always been the case this season.
The players must take responsibility though, and give their loyal fans something to shout about, if they are to receive the support they need.
When writing his column for WHUFC.com, Moyes offered fairly underwhelming words to the club’s fans, warning them just how tough today’s game against the Blues will be:

“West Ham United supporters will get behind the team on Saturday because that’s what West Ham United supporters do. I wouldn’t expect anything else and, in the position we’re in, they know how much we need them. We’ll try and do everything we can to give them something to shout about but also I hope they understand the realistic challenge we have got against a team such as Chelsea as well.”
The game kicks off at 12:30 and can be seen exclusively live on Sky Sports.
