The Burnley manager has been linked with the Everton manager’s job following Ronald Koeman’s sacking.
Clarets boss Sean Dyche responded to rumours linking him with the vacant managerial role at Goodison Park, during an exlusive interview with the Daily Mail, insisting that he is just getting on with doing what he does best.
The 46-year-old has worked wonders during his time in charge at Turf Moor, and his stock continues to rise in the game, with his Burnley side currently sitting comfortably in eighth position in the Premier League table.
He has drawn many plaudits for the not only the manner in which his side apply themselves on the pitch, but for the way he manages to compete with other clubs in the top division, on a far inferior transfer budget.
And Dyche spoke exclusively to the Daily Mail regarding his name being linked with the Everton manager’s job, admitting that it is flattering having his name connected with such a high-profile post:
“It’s very flattering, I’ve been linked with other situations before. I just keep getting on with my job until things change. It’s out of my hands, I’m just getting on with what I do.”

The Toffees currently find themselves deeply entrenched in a relegation battle, following their dismal return of just eight points from nine games, and having someone like Dyche at the helm, what with his impressive man-management skills, is surely exactly what they need as a football club.
Burnley will fight tooth and nail to keep hold of their manager, however, as they continue to progress and develop into an established Premier League side.
