Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers signed Philippe Senderos in the summer of 2016.
Philippe Senderos is 31 years of age and is past his best, but when he joined Rangers in the summer of 2016, he was expected to be a good signing. Mark Warburton, then the Rangers manager, signed the 31-year-old centre-back.
Rangers fans react on Twitter to win against Greenock Morton
Senderos was expected to add experience to the Rangers back-line that was facing a very difficult challenge in the Scottish Premiership this season. The Switzerland international has played for some massive clubs, such as Arsenal, Aston Villa and Fulham.
The 31-year-old has not been a success at Rangers. Injuries have played their part, but when the defender has featured, he has not always looked great.
Rangers receive injury boost; Ibrox faithful will be delighted
Andy Ferguson, who works as a first-team scout at Portsmouth and is a Rangers fan, has criticised Senderos on social networking site Twitter. Ferguson believes that the former Fulham defender is a Sunday morning player at best.

Ferguson made the aforementioned comments on Twitter during Rangers’ game against Greenock Morton on Sunday afternoon. The Gers got the better of Morton 2-1 at Ibrox in the fifth round of the Scottish Cup.
