Glasgow Rangers midfielder Niko Kranjcar could return to action by April.
Rangers are in a bit of a mess at the moment. Not only are the Gers as many 27 points behind leaders and Old Firm rivals Celtic, but they are also without a manager.
Mark Warburton to City Ground? Nottingham Forest fans have their say
Mark Warburton’s departure on Friday evening was probably not that big a surprise. After all, with recent results and performances not up to standards, it was only a matter of time before something happened at Ibrox.

Rangers are still in the running for the runners-up spot in the Scottish Premiership and could win the Scottish Cup this season, but there is a degree of disappointment and frustration at Ibrox.

However, there is some good news for the Rangers fans. According to The Scottish Sun, Niko Kranjcar could return to action as early as April. The 32-year-old attacking midfielder is on the sidelines at the moment due to a knee injury.
The former Tottenham Hotspur man has not featured since October and was expected to be out of action for the rest of the season. However, the 32-year-old could make a return in April, according to his and the Croatian FA doctor, Boris Nemec.

“He clenched his teeth and got on with intensive, painstaking training,” Dr Nemec told The Scottish Sun. “And his reward for this is he will be back playing quicker than anyone expected. He’s come back so quickly.
“He’s currently on a programme to run and strengthen his muscles and very soon will begin ball work. But if he continues at this rate of progress, he will be back playing in two months. I certainly think he will be back playing for Rangers for the season finale.”
