After the game, Tottenham fans took to Twitter to blast Eriksen, claiming he was ineffective, anonymous and ultimately poor against the Reds, whilst suggesting that he is generally average and overrated.
Others felt that Georges-Kevin Nkoudou should have been used instead of Eriksen, and accused him of failing to show up in the big games.
