Chelsea were interested in signing Craig Gordon from Celtic in the January transfer window.
Craig Gordon was linked with a move to Chelsea in the January transfer window, but it seems that the goalkeeper will remain at Celtic for the foreseeable future.
The 34-year-old has been on the books of Celtic since the summer of 2014 and has a contract with the Scottish Premiership giants until June 2018, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.

The Scottish Sun quoted Chelsea manager Antonio Conte as saying earlier this month of his interest in the Scotland international in the January transfer window.
Celtic refused to part company with Gordon, who now seems to be on the verge of signing a new deal with the Glasgow giants.
A very bright future… Andy Walker makes prediction about Celtic teenager out on loan
Manager Brendan Rodgers has revealed that the former Sunderland goalkeeper is set to extend his deal at the club.

“I’ll leave that to the club and his agent,” Rodgers told The Daily Mail about Gordon. “He’s brilliant and deserves it. Hopefully that will be done very soon. I think 99.9 per cent is agreed so that will be great for us.”

Gordon is a good goalkeeper and is one of the best in his position in the Scottish Premiership. The Scotsman may be 34 years of age, but he is still going strong and has a few more years left in him.
Celtic are running away with the Scottish Premiership title this season, and it is hard to see them lose the crown during the 2017-18 campaign.
