The 23-year-old has been a driving force behind Tottenham’s impressive run of form over the past couple of months, and has scored 14 goals in 19 Premier League outings so far this term.
And the England international explained how fatherhood has changed him, during a wide-ranging interview with ESPN, highlighting how having a baby daughter has made him even more determined to succeed than ever before:

“I’m getting into a new routine; there’s not as much time when I come home from training now because of all my dad duties. It’s a bit surreal still but it’s been great. I’m still getting used to her being there and a new way of life. It’s harder to be angry at home when we lose. When it was just me and the missus, she didn’t mind. She’d take the wrath of the loss! But it’s harder when there’s a little baby now. And I still want to win games, I’d say even more so now — for her.”

It would be hard to argue that fatherhood has had an adverse effect on Kane’s ability to produce the goods on match-days.
The Spurs striker has scored four goals in four games since the birth of his child on January 8th, and continues to be a key component to the manner in which Mauricio Pochettino expects his team to operate.

And if Kane can continue his impressive run of form, there is no reason why Spurs cannot push Chelsea all the way in the Premier League title race.
