Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane discusses his relationship with Mauricio Pochettino.

Spurs striker Harry Kane sat down for an exclusive interview with ESPN, and offered high praise for his manager Mauricio Pochettino, highlighting how he shares a close personal bond with the Argentine, both on and off the pitch.

The 23-year-old has been in sensational form this season, especially after returning from his injury, and has scored 16 goals in 22 appearances in all competitions for his club so far this term.

And the England international spoke to ESPN about how important Pochettino has been to his development both as a player and as a human being:

“We talk about [fatherhood]. He’s yet to meet her, so he’ll have to come and meet her soon [his daughter]. He’s got two sons, so he knows what it’s like. He hasn’t got a daughter, though, so he can’t give me advice on that front. He’s a great guy; if I’ve got problems off the pitch or personal issues, he’s there to talk to.”

Pochettino has obviously created an extremely close bond between his group of players at White Hart Lane, with Tottenham’s performances on the pitch being a testament to the relationships shared amongst the squad off the field.

And for that, the credit must go to the Argentine, who has developed a real sense of a family atmosphere in and amongst the setup in north London,and along with the undoubted quality present at the club, the current group of players have the potential to go very far in the game.
