And Davies told reporters how Tottenham are expecting a difficult test against the Merseysiders, but will head into the game in fine spirits, as quoted by the Liverpool Echo:

“We’ve seen they’re not on the greatest run but they’re still a very, very good team. They’re going to be dangerous to play against, especially at home. It’s one we’re looking forward to and we’ve got to go into it looking to get the points.”

The 23-year-old Wales full-back has made just four Premier League starts this season for the Lilywhites, but will have an opportunity to prove his true worth to Pochettino over the next month or so, what with the injury sustained by Danny Rose.
