Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton has written in The Daily Record that Clint Hill and Kenny Miller have been the two best players for Rangers so far this season.

Mark Warburton’s side were expected to at least challenge Old Firm rivals Celtic for the league title this campaign, but things are not going according to plan.
The Gers are currently third in the league table with 43 points from 24 matches, 27 points behind leaders Celtic.

Former Celtic striker Sutton has picked the two best players for Rangers so far this season – 38-year-old defender Clint Hill and 37-year-old striker Kenny Miller.

“I sure as heck can’t see what the strategy is,” Sutton wrote about Rangers in The Daily Record. “Forget about all that rubbish at the start of the season about challenging Celtic. That didn’t last long and this campaign is done.
“But what is the plan for next season? The two best players at Rangers this year have been Clint Hill and Kenny Miller.
“I have huge respect for both but they’re not going to get any better at this stage in their careers.”
Rangers will return to action on Sunday afternoon when they take on Greenock Morton at Ibrox in the fifth round of the Scottish Cup.
