Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon should be replaced by a Tottenham Hotspur stopper if he ends up joining Chelsea.
Celtic may have managed to hold onto Craig Gordon during the January transfer window despite interest from Chelsea, but The Scottish Sun reported earlier in the month that the Blues have not given up on securing his signature in the summer.

If the Hoops are unable to keep Gordon at Parkhead, Brendan Rodgers should turn to a goalkeeper who he knows very well, and may perhaps be free to move on from his current club come the end of the season.
According to Spanish outlet Sport, Tottenham Hotspur want to make current loanee Pau Lopez’s move permanent which would seemingly leave teammate Michel Vorm’s future up in the air.
Tottenham’s Michel Vorm
The Dutchman has been Hugo Lloris’ understudy for the majority of his time at White Hart Lane, but Lopez’s permanent arrival would suggest that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino sees the Spaniard moving ahead of him in the pecking order.
Should that prove to be the case, the 33-year-old may decide that he wants to move on to ensure that he gets as much first-team football under his belt before his career comes to an end.
Therefore, it would hardly be a surprise if he deemed a switch to Celtic as the perfect opportunity.
Rodgers was the man who brought Vorm to the Premier League when he was in charge of Swansea City, and it was under his management that the stopper showed that he was good enough to play at the highest level.

Therefore, he would surely have few qualms about moving to the Scottish Premiership, especially as he is bound to win plenty of silverware and Gordon’s departure would surely leave the path clear for him to be the club’s number one.
Some supporters may perhaps be sceptical given Rodgers’ other goalkeeper signing for the Hoops, Dorus De Vries, had also played under him previously but has certainly not been a hit at Parkhead.

But it is fair to say that Vorm has been a much better stopper over the last few years and signing him would be an excellent piece of business for the Bhoys.
