Blackburn Rovers are set to sign free agent Caddis, while Celtic’s Ambrose is hoping to be granted a work permit after falling out of favour under Parkhead boss Brendan Rodgers.
Blackburn Rovers are set to sign right-back Paul Caddis following his release by Birmingham City last month, according to the Sun (07/02, page 53).
The report adds that Celtic centre-half Efe Ambrose is still hoping he’ll be granted a work permit to follow the former Bhoy to Ewood Park.

Blackburn, however, lost auxiliary full-back Ben Marshall to Wolverhampton Wanderers on deadline day, which looks set to provide the Scot with an opportunity to play more frequently in Lancashire.
Ambrose is also yet to feature for Celtic in the league this season and agreed on the move south a week ago – a deal which is now in the hands of the Home Office.
