Everton will face Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Everton will return to action on Saturday afternoon. The Toffees will take on Bournemouth at Goodison Park in the Premier League in a few hours’ time.

The Merseyside outfit will head into the match against the Cherries on the back of a 1-1 draw with Stoke City away from home at the bet365 Stadium. Ronald Koeman’s side are seventh in the Premier League table at the moment with 37 points from 23 matches.

One player who will not feature in this afternoon’s match is Yannick Bolasie. The 27-year-old winger is on the sidelines at the moment with a knee injury he picked up in December.

The DR Congo international joined the Toffees from Premier League rivals Crystal Palace in the summer of 2016. According to a report on BBC Sport at the time, Everton had to pay Palace a transfer fee of £25 million in order to secure the services of the winger.

Bolasie may be out for the rest of the season, but he is following Everton’s progress closely. Ahead of this afternoon’s Premier League game against Bournemouth, the winger has posted an emotional message on social networking site Twitter:
