The former West Ham United striker endured a miserable time during his spell in London.
Recently departed Hammers flop Simone Zaza sat down for an interview with Italian media outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, and highlighted four main reasons why he struggled to settle during his time in London.

The 25-year-old endured a woeful spell with West Ham, where he made 11 appearances in all competitions and failed to score a single goal.
Many Hammers fans questioned the signing of the Italian when Slaven Bilic brought him to the club in the summer, after his dreadful performances for Italy during EURO 2016.

The striker is now spending the rest of the season on loan at Valencia, and he explained to Gazzetta dello Sport the reasons why he struggled to establish himself at the London Stadium:
“Quickly I didn’t feel great in so many ways: environment, culture, training, nutrition. I’m not being a victim, I know that plying your trade as a footballer allows you to earn so much. I’m just trying to explain the causes of my failure. I knew I’d find some difficulties, but I did not think there could be so many.”

The former Juventus man was so poor throughout his time at London, he surely has to take most of the blame himself, and at least consider the possibility that he is not actually as good as he thinks he is.
Should West Ham have made a move for talented 59- capped international winger on deadline day?
On a side note, Zaza has made two appearances so far for the La Liga outfit and, unsurprisingly, is still yet to register a goal for his new club.
