Ross McCormack joined Nottingham Forest from Aston Villa in the January transfer window.
Ross McCormack has told BBC Radio Nottingham that he plans to return to Aston Villa at the end of the season.
McCormack joined Forest from Championship rivals Aston Villa in the January transfer window.
The former Leeds United and Fulham striker has moved to the Reds on loan until the end of the 2016-17 campaign.

The 30-year-old has commented on his future after his loan spell at the City Ground ends.

“It’s always good to play at a stadium where you’ve scored a few goals,” McCormack told BBC Radio Nottingham. “I think I’ve scored in nearly every game I’ve played against Forest.

“I’ve still got three and a half years left on my contract, so I’ll be going back to Aston Villa at the end of the season and we’ll take it from there.”

McCormack is a good striker, and he should prove to be a decent signing for Forest. The Reds are struggling for survival in the Championship at the moment and will hope that the 30-year-old will score a few goals between now and the end of the season.
The former Cardiff City man scored three goals and created 42 chances in 20 Championship appearances for Villa this season before his move to Forest.
Forest are 19th in the Championship table at the moment with 33 points from 29 matches, eight points above the relegation zone.
Meanwhile, Villa currently find themselves 14h in the standings with 36 points from 28 games.
