New Leeds United signing Modou Barrow has taken to Twitter in order to praise the club’s fans after their support against Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday evening.
The Whites made the trip to Ewood Park in search of a league win to erase the memory of Sunday’s embarrassing 1-0 FA Cup defeat to Sutton United, and they got what they wanted in a 2-1 victory.

Wingers Alfonso Pedraza and Modou Barrow arrived on deadline day to boost Monk’s attack, and whilst they weren’t eligible to play against Blackburn, Barrow was in the stands to see his new team in action.
The Gambian winger, 24, reunites with Monk having worked together at Swansea City, and he’s contributed two assists in 18 Premier League appearances this season whilst catching the eye with his blistering pace.
Barrow will now be in contention to play against Huddersfield Town on Sunday, and he got his first taste of the Leeds fans on Wednesday evening.

Barrow took to Twitter on Thursday to not only comment on his arrival at Elland Road, but rave about the Leeds fans, suggesting that they can’t lose with such amazing support, adding that he’s ‘buzzing’ to be part of the club having been in the stands at Ewood Park.
