Danny Rose could miss Tottenham Hotspur’s next six games if reports are to be believed.
A report in The Sun has suggested that Tottenham could be without Danny Rose for the rest of the month after he sustained a knee injury during their goalless draw with Sunderland on Tuesday.
Tottenham’s frustrating Sunderland draw emphasises the importance of missing star
The Sun reports that Rose will undergo a scan on Thursday after he had to be taken off during the latter stages of the first-half of their deadline day clash at the Stadium of Light, but the Spurs hierarchy are worried that he could be out until March if he has sustained medial ligament damage.
Tottenham’s Danny Rose looks dejected
If he does not play in February, he will miss at least six games for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, which will undoubtedly be a blow to their hopes of keeping pressure on Chelsea at the top of the Premier League table.
Rose has been excellent so far this term, helping Tottenham concede just 16 goals in 23 top flight games, the joint best defensive record in the division, as well as making an impact going forward with two goals and two assists to his name.

And while Ben Davies has done well when he has been called upon this season, Pochettino would have surely preferred to have had Rose available for the upcoming league games against Middlesbrough, Liverpool and Stoke as well as the FA Cup clash with Fulham and the Europa League ties with Gent.

But it appears that Spurs will have to cope without the 26-year-old for those games if the scans confirm the club’s fears.
