Chelsea are reportedly keen on Celtic striker Moussa Dembele.
According to Sky Sports, Chelsea are interested in a deadline day deal for Celtic striker Moussa Dembele – but may have to pay more than £40million to sign him.
The Blues have been quiet during this month’s transfer window, but have made two bids for Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon (Daily Record), with the Bhoys stopper looking likely to stay at Celtic Park.

However, Antonio Conte’s league leaders could yet make another move for a Celtic star, with Sky Sports reporting that Chelsea are keen to land Bhoys striker Moussa Demble before tomorrow’s transfer deadline.

Dembele, 20, has been a sensation for Celtic ever since his summer move from Fulham, and he has hit 20 goals in just 38 appearances for the Bhoys this season.
Celtic’s Moussa Dembele reacts
The Frenchman is now considered to be one of Europe’s top young strikers, and Premier League clubs are continuously linked with a move to sign him, just months after joining Celtic.
Now, it’s claimed that Chelsea are lining up a bid for Dembele before the deadline, but Celtic allegedly won’t consider any bids below a whopping £40million, meaning the Blues would have to dig deep to land the striker.
A late move from Chelsea could see Dembele return to West London, giving Conte a bright young striker and Celtic a huge sum of money for a player they signed for a pittance last summer.

However, it’s hard to see Dembele getting regular first-team football given that Michy Batshuayi – another striker Chelsea paid big money for under Conte – is struggling for playing time himself right now, whilst Celtic would be massively reluctant to sell their prized asset in the final hours of the transfer window.
