Jamie O’Hara has said on talkSPORT (11:51am, June 29, 2021) that he does not think that Arsenal will sell Emile Smith Rowe to Aston Villa.
Emile Smith Rowe situation
Villa are reportedly keen on signing Smith Rowe from Premier League rivals Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
The Athletic has reported that Villa have had a second bid for the attacking midfielder turned down this week.
Dean Smith’s side made an opening offer of £25 million.
Arsenal turned it down.
The Villans then came back with a new bid of £30 million.
The Gunners have rejected it as well.
Arsenal simply do not want to sell Emith Rowe.
What Jamie O’Hara thinks
Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder O’Hara does not think that Arsenal will sell Smith Rowe to Villa.
O’Hara said on talkSPORT (11:51am, June 29, 2021): “I can’t see them selling him for £30 million, but money talks. Everyone knows that. If they get the right bid eventually, they will consider it. I don’t think that the fans will be very happy.”
The pundit added: “I can’t see it happening, if I am honest.”

No Aston Villa transfer for Smith Rowe?
As O’Hara notes, money talks. Every player has his price.
However, it is hard to see Arsenal sell Emith Rowe to Villa, unless, of course, they get a ridiculous offer.
Like Jack Grealish and £500 million, as Matt Lucas said.
The English attacking midfielder enjoyed a breakthrough season in 2020-21.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will want Smith Rowe in his team for next season and beyond.
