Jamie O’Hara has said on talkSPORT (5:38pm, February 11, 2023) that he cannot believe that Japhet Tanganga is still at Tottenham Hotspur.
The talkSPORT and Sky Sports pundit made the comments about Tanganga after watching him in action for Tottenham against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday.
Antonio Conte’s side were hammered 4-1 by the former Premier League champions.
Tanganga started the match for Spurs.
The. 23-year-old Englishman started on the right of a three-man defence.

The pundit added: “It looks like he has got ice skates on him every time he is defending. It’s embarrassing.”

In our view, Jamie O’Hara is being a bit too harsh on Tottenham Hotspur defender Japhet Tanganga.
True, Tanganga did not have a particularly good game against Leicester, but he is not a bad defender.
And he is only 23.
It is not easy for any player to do well if he does not get a consistent run of games.
And Tanganga has also had injury problems.
So, in our opinion, we should not write him off just yet.
Tanganga has made two appearances in the Premier League for Tottenham so far this season.
The young defender has also made one substitute appearance in the UEFA Champions League and has played twice in the FA Cup for Antonio Conte’s side so far this campaign.
