Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers midfielder Carlos Pena has been praised by former Celtic player Efrain Juarez.

Former Celtic player, Efrain Juarez, has showered praise on Ibrox club Glasgow Ranger’s summer signing Carlos Pena.
Pena joined from Mexican club Guadalajara in the summer transfer window for a fee of around £2.2 million, according to the Daily Record.
The 27-year-old, who has 19 international caps for Mexico, has struggled to make a strong impact in Scotland.
He has been severely criticised by former Celtic player-turned football pundit, Chris Sutton for his poor performance against the Bhoys in the recent Old Firm derby.

However, Juarez has urged Rangers fans to have patience with the Mexican midfielder, saying it is not always easy for players to make an impact straightaway especially when coming from a different league.
The 29-year-old former Celtic player has played against Pena in the past, and he is convinced that he’ll be a top player for Rangers. He adds that Pena is a good player and a threat.

“If you give Pena and Herrera time then I’m absolutely convinced they’ll be the top men for Rangers,” said Juarez, as quoted by The Daily Record.
“Carlos is a good player and a threat – he scored a lot in Mexico but he had more time on the ball than in Scotland, where they’re only thinking about getting to goal as quickly as possible.”
Rangers have made a stuttering start to their 2017/18 Scottish Premier League campaign, and are third in the table, six points behind Celtic after eight games.
