Ibrox club Rangers lost 2-0 to Celtic in the Old Firm derby on Saturday. Chris Sutton not impressed with Carlos Pena’s performance.

Former Celtic player-turned-pundit Chris Sutton has severely criticised Rangers’ summer signing, Carlos Pena.
The 27-year-old Mexican midfielder is one of the several new players who have arrived at the Ibrox club this summer, and made his Old Firm debut last week.
Pena was one of the under-performers for Rangers against Celtic in the Old Firm derby clash last week, and came under strong criticism from the home fans as well.

Sutton said that there has to be a huge question mark over Pena, and that he is unimpressed with the player’s attitude.
Pena had a great opportunity to make a mark in the Old Firm derby when he was handed a start on Saturday.
However, he looked like a fish out of water in the middle of the park. Sutton said that Pena didn’t look fit enough, and it was a big mistake playing him.

“And there has to be huge question marks, particularly over Carlos Pena and his attitude since he came to Glasgow,” wrote Sutton in his column for The Daily Record.
“He was handed a start on Saturday to show what he can do. He’s had long enough to get fit but was miles off it. He can’t run. He can’t move.
“Whether he was short of fitness or whatever it was a mistake playing him and it was like playing with 10 men in that first half.”
Rangers have dropped to fifth in the Scottish Premier League table, and are eight points behind Celtic already.
