Nketiah chant has been a commonly searched term on Google with many Arsenal fans wanting to know more about their No.14’s song.
Since stepping up in the absence of Gabriel Jesus, Nketiah has performed well with five goals in his last five appearances across all competitions.
As a result, the Hale End academy graduate has been rewarded with his own chant, but what is it and where did it originate from? Let’s take a look…
Nketiah chant
Well, if you haven’t already heard, the chant goes something like this: “Your defence is in trouble, Nketiah in the room.”
In truth, it sounds a lot better when it is being bellowed out by supporters.

The song is believed to have originated from an Arsenal fan on TikTok, who goes by the username of Babablueh.
It first appeared online after Nketiah scored in Arsenal’s 3-1 win over West Ham on Boxing Day, which lit the touch paper on Nketiah Mania as more goals followed from the Londoner.
Of course, Jesus is still sorely missed by Arsenal fans, although the 23-year-old’s form in his absence has done plenty to ease the pain of losing the Brazilian.
Even when the Gunners No.9 is back fit and ready for action, we believe Arsenal fans will still be humming the Nketiah chant to themselves – it is simply too catchy to forget about.
Nketiah in the room
Arsenal themselves have even jumped on the hype surrounding the Nketiah chant.
After the England Under-21 international scored twice in the 3-0 FA Cup win over Oxford United on Monday, the Gunners simply tweeted “Nketiah in the room” from their official Twitter account.
If Nketiah keeps his goalscoring heroics up, then the whole of England will surely know about this chant in no time.
