Martin Keown has now told Sean Dyche to sign West Ham United forward Michail Antonio to replace Anthony Gordon at Everton. He is the favourite to be the next Toffees manager.
Everton are on the hunt for a new manager once again after owner Farhad Moshiri sacked Frank Lampard. The Goodison Park chief acted as the Merseyside club are only 19th in the Premier League table. They have won a division-low three games and scored just 15 goals.
Top-flight survival remains possible, nonetheless, with the bottom seven teams separated by just three points. West Ham are just a point outside of the drop zone. While Wolves are only in 17th place, above AFC Bournemouth and Everton, via their superior goal difference.

Everton want to make Dyche their next manager as Gordon eyes a move to Newcastle
Everton are now looking to appoint Dyche as their next manager after moving on from the club’s top target, Marcelo Bielsa. The Telegraph reports that Moshiri failed to convince the Argentine to take over during talks this Thursday. So, he has held further talks with Dyche.
The former Burnley boss, who has remained out of work since the Clarets sacked him last April, showed immediate enthusiasm for replacing Lampard. But he would take charge and have to put fires out straight away. As well as the league, Gordon’s future will be a priority.
Gordon is pushing to leave Everton for Newcastle United over the final days of the transfer window. Fabrizio Romano even reports the winger has already agreed to personal terms to go to St James’ Park. While talkSPORT adds the sides are just £5m apart in their valuations.

Everton had asked for £60m to sell Gordon to Newcastle in a last-gasp transfer this month. But the Magpies have held firm in their reluctance to meet the Toffees’ asking price for the 21-year-old. The Northern Echo notes they only want to pay £25m, rising £15m in add-ons.
Keown has now told Dyche to sign Antonio from West Ham if Gordon leaves
Yet should Gordon join Newcastle, Keown believes Dyche should ask Everton to sign West Ham star Antonio. The Irons striker has declared on The Footballer’s Football Podcast: “I’ve not ruled anything out. That’s all I can say. Nothing has been ruled out. There are talks.”

Reports by Sky Sports also note West Ham will let Antonio go if David Moyes signs another striker after Danny Ings. The 32-year-old has been with the Hammers since a £7m transfer from Nottingham Forest in 2015. Now, Keown has told talkSPORT that Dyche should bid:
“I think Sean Dyche sitting down with the players, meeting the players, finding out what is going on, ‘What character have I got in front of me? Is it bad? Can we repair the damage?’ Ok, no’. Right, Antonio might be available at West Ham. There are options – let’s get him.
“So, maybe his first step is to spend some of that money and get the player out. So, a lot of thinking to do for the manager and immediately you have got to get to work quickly. One assumes that he had one eye on the job and the team for the last number of weeks.”
